British cricketer Jacob Bethell impressed from a young age, described by former professional batter Ian Bell as 'the best 17 year old' he'd seen when Bethell signed with Warwickshire County in 2021.
Since then, the young sportsman has represented England in the Under-19 squad and was vice-captain of England in the 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, scoring innings of 88 off 42 balls to secure a quarter-final victory over South Africa. Despite only making his senior international debut in September 2024, the 21 year old is set to become England's youngest ever men's captain when he leads the T20 side on an Ireland tour in September 2025.
